Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Mainframe Production Support Engineer for their Riverwoods, IL /Hybrid location. Responsibilities:
+ Mainframe Support Engineer
+ Mainframe - COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2.
+ REXX, Endeavor, OPC scheduler, Autosys, Maestro.
Batch Scheduling & Operations:
+ Overall 10-12 years of experience in mainframe engineering, batch job scheduling and monitoring batch jobs
+ Design, develop, and maintain batch job schedules using IBM Scheduler (OPC), Autosys, and Maestro.
+ Monitor daily batch processing cycles, ensuring timely and successful completion.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling and batch job failures, collaborating with application development and infra operations teams as needed.
