Job Overview

To manage the processes, teams, and resources for port operations, contributing to operational effectiveness, client/customer satisfaction, reduced risk, profitability, and compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities Execute own work and team work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements. Ensure continuous client interaction, communication, and feedback. Ensure complaints are handled effectively. Provide oversight over the port operations function and ensure port operations adhere to their service level agreements. Interact with transporters and service providers in port on a regular basis and ensure a good working relationship is maintained. Provide strategic input into the planning function to ensure delivery schedules are planned and executed in a cost-effective manner.
