About the Role
Our Team is looking for a Senior Underwriter with recognised experience and a successful track record in underwriting Large and Medium Sized Corporates. As a Senior Marine Underwriter, you will play an instrumental role shaping our Marine & Energy underwriting portfolio and will be a key contributor in driving our strategy. Experience with underwriting Composite placements is a plus. Your responsibilities will include:
Analysing and assessing submissions in respect of exposures and coverages as well as identifying and negotiating the best position for Swiss Re.
Underwrite treaty reinsurance business for the various Marine classes including Cargo, Hull, Liability, Energy and PVT, including preparing quotations, offering proposals, wordings and clauses.
Developing strategies to expand our position on current accounts and to cross-sell other lines of business.
Support LoB Head with portfolio strategy and initiatives.
