Job Description
Areas of Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Comply with the Company’s quality management procedures
- Supervise and coordinate all materials testing activities
- Assess laboratory test results
- Visual assessment of construction process
- Visual inspection of completed elements
- Ensure the correct use of materials
- Provide reliable test results to ARE’s
Contractor Liaison
- Maintain good relations with all stakeholders
- Liaise with the Contractor with regards to the construction process, e.g. compaction problems
- Comment on and make recommendations with regards to mix designs
- Evaluate and report on mix designs
Reporting
- Maintain an effective up to date site diary
- Compile monthly reports
- Reporting of results and final assessment of completed work
