Senior Medical Coder

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Medical Coder with 3–5 years of professional coding experience to support accurate coding, compliance, and reimbursement across multiple specialties. The candidate must be proficient in CPT, ICD‑10‑CM, HCPCS, payer rules, NCCI edits, MUEs, and documentation requirements. This role will also support validation of our AI‑assisted coding solution and work across various EMR platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Assign accurate CPT, ICD‑10‑CM, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation.
• Ensure coding compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer‑specific guidelines.
• Review and resolve coding denials, NCCI/MUE conflicts, and documentation deficiencies.
• Maintain an accuracy level of 95% or higher.
• Collaborate with providers and internal teams to clarify documentation and improve coding quality.
