Globe 24-7, in partnership with a leading mining company, is seeking a Senior Mining Planner to join their team in Joburg.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain short‑term, medium‑term, and rolling Mine plans. Produce mine designs and schedules aligned with operational and business objectives. Monitor production performance against plan and identify opportunities for optimisation. Support budgeting, forecasting, Life of Mine (LOM), and business planning activities. Liaise with Survey, Geology, Rock Engineering, Ventilation, and Mining departments to ensure integrated planning. Conduct planning reconciliations and provide technical reports to management. Assist with the continuous improvement of planning systems, standards, and reporting processes. Requirements Grade 12. Relevant tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Mine Surveying, Mine Planning, or an Advanced Mine Resource Management (MRM) qualification.
