Summary
This role oversees the work of others who coordinate management of customer detention and demurrage in compliance with the defined DSV tariff, while meeting all FMC legislative requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage a region’s detention and demurrage compliance and profitability.Ensure that key, critical and complex accounts for an assigned region have clear billing SOPs and detention and demurrages tariffs is their NRAs.Ensure that general accounts are adhering to the defined DSV tariffProcess payment of all related detention and demurrage charges to carriers in the region of responsibility after validation of compliance of the invoiceManage and resolve invoicing disputes with vendors in a timely manner (carriers)Ensure demurrage & detention details are timely communicated to the appropriate branch and billed within the compl...
