Job Description
The Operations Technician III is responsible for the receipt, inventory, storage, withdrawal, and shipment of biological specimens, clinical agents, and materials from a variety of commercial and government clients. Materials are stored at temperatures ranging from ambient room temperature to -196°C and may have potentially hazardous properties, requiring strict adherence to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. This role uses database applications and inventory management systems to track and manage samples, and requires the ability to work independently, be self-directed, communicate effectively, and exercise sound professional judgment.
