Senior Planner

Senior Planner in our Lakeland, TN office with strong interest and experience in being responsible for managing complex planning projects and rewrites of land development codes, coordinating inter-disciplinary project teams, technical development, and client management and relations. Potential projects may include county/local level comprehensive plans, neighborhood plans, downtown and community revitalization plans, corridor plans, park plans, and strategic plans.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Preparing expert opinions regarding development proposals, plan amendments, rezoning, and annexations on behalf of public or private clients

Preparing and making public and client presentations and facilitating public meetings and workshops

Conducting research and preparing reports on land use, physical, social & economic issues
