Senior Principal Research Engineer, ICD, IME

The Institute of Microelectronics (IME), one of the research entities under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), seeks an experienced candidate to lead its talented circuit design group.

• Develop and implement strategies for circuit design research and commercialization that are aligned to A*STAR’s mission.
• Contribute to Singapore’s Future of Microelectronics (FME) national initiative by identifying the IC design capabilities that Singapore should make strategic investments in (with the aim of making Singapore a well‑known location for that field) and coordinating with IHLs to lead the relevant initiative.
• Lead IME’s circuit design teams.
• Partner SSIA, IHLs and EDB to develop and implement community building and talent development initiatives in IC design.
