Job Description
Job Purpose:
Manage the company's sourcing capabilities and supply chain by strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors and calculating and maintaining stock levels in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses and work stoppages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated, promoted and implemented within the Organization.
- Efficiently and effectively buy consumable and expendable (direct material) material for the Company's MRO operations.
- Deputize the Manager Supply Chain.
- Recover material shortages (DMAT) timely and reduce work stoppage time to a minimum.
