Senior Production & Quality Engineer (5071)

SMX is seeking a Senior Production & Quality Engineer for the M&QE Division, in NAVAIR’s Systems Acquisition Group. The candidate will provide research analysis and technical domain engineering support in M&QE for a classified program at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.

Location: On-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD and 30% travel to Industry sites. **This work is not eligible for teleworking.**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Provide support for Production & Quality of an early development classified program.
+ Examine suppliers and perform facilities evaluations assessing contractor design, development and manufacturing/quality planning activities, ensuring that production and producibility considerations are being appropriately integrated into the systems engineering process.
