Senior Quality Engineer

Our client is recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to fully support the Quality Manager in maintaining company quality expectations through compliance to company policies, system procedures, work instructions and specifications. Driving improvements, the Senior Quality Engineer will ensure the timely completion of 8D investigations and be the first point of contact for any quality escalations.

Senior Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely completion of 8Ds including the implementation of corrective actions
• Complete Gemba walks around site to support continuous improvement
• Support the upkeep of the Business Management System
• Be the first point of escalation for serious quality issues
• Be proficient in Quality standards and methodologies such as 8D’s, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP
• To carry out Internal & Supplier audits as required within the organisation
