Job Description

The Senior Ranger position oversees 13 staff managing 289,866ha of parks. Keytasks are program delivery, budgets, contracts, & stakeholder liaison.
The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI) ensures Queenslands diverse natural environments are protected for the health and prosperity of current and future generations. In this role, youll play a key part in safeguarding some ofour most iconic places. 
The Ideal Candidate: 
Displays a passion for protected area management, conservation, and natural resource management. Demonstrates strong leadership, effectively planning, prioritising, and managing multiple programs and tasks across large or dispersed areas.
