Senior Regulatory Specialist

UC Davis Health Compliance and Privacy Services promotes ethical behavior and ensures adherence to applicable laws and policies through effective internal controls.The Senior Regulatory Specialist plays a critical role by analyzing complex regulatory issues, advising institutional stakeholders, and supporting compliance across the organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing complex regulatory analyses and guiding compliance with federal, state, UCOP, and UC Davis Health requirements. Researching, evaluating, and responding to unique or unprecedented compliance and regulatory inquiries. Advising on regulatory matters impacting compliance, privacy and medical privacy, data governance, revenue cycle (CMS), medical center operations, medical research, vendor relationships/conflict of interest, contracting, auditing, and medical record management.
