Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Involved in the development and characterisation of solid‑state quantum sensors (e.g. color centres in diamond).
- Execute sub‑projects assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI) and contribute to the design and setup of laboratory instrumentation.
- Develop experiments in consultation with the PI, applying rigorous scientific, engineering and literature‑backed design.
- Lead sub‑projects assigned by the PI.
- Ensure proper documentation of experiments, conduct project meetings, and facilitate discussions with collaborators.
- Assist the PI in leading, training and mentoring lab staff and students related to the project.
- Assist the PI in ensuring the operational integrity of the laboratory, providing relevant training to staff, students and collaborators.
- Support the PI in events, publications, proposals, planning, monitoring and reporting related to the mission of the lab.
