Job Description
Orbitworks' mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space. Building on Loft Orbital's heritage, Orbitworks will be the first commercial firm in the United Arab Emirates to mass‑manufacture satellites. The company aims to manufacture tens of satellites annually and operates out of a 50,000‑square‑foot facility in Abu Dhabi.
As a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer, you will work as a senior engineer on one or several satellite missions simultaneously, each one flying a single/multi‑payload configuration. You will serve as a technical reference for these missions, working closely with the mission manager and all Orbitworks and Loft teams: product development, flight and ground software, AIT, and operations.
