Job Description
The AbbVie Neuroscience Discovery Research Translational Sciences Imaging group is advancing an innovative positron emission tomography (PET) research program focused on the discovery and development of novel PET radioligands, their application in drug discovery and development, and their use in understanding normal and disease-related biology in animal models and in humans. The group identifies and advances key imaging initiatives within AbbVie and with external collaborators, while working closely across functions including medicinal chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, and clinical development.
Purpose:
The Molecular Imaging Scientist will lead and support preclinical PET imaging studies. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging instrumentation, and novel PET radioligands, animal models, and therapeutic approaches.
