Purpose
Position Overview: PerkinElmer is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist. In this role, you will support current tactical and strategic workload to maintain, protect, optimize and growth of the top and bottom line for PerkinElmer. You will begin with administrative tasks: SAP tasks/update (PIR/SL update, DR for NPI, QIR review), excel tracking/price comparison, send RFQ/drawings download, etc & also support sourcing of parts including, but not limited to, pricing/contract negotiations and supports global commodity strategies.
You will also support open market sourcing for COTS parts to connect supply. The role can possibly extend into some less challenging suppliers’ management (bulk part replenishment, etc). The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a proven track record in developing and managing supplier relationships.
