This position is currently partnering with a highly respected conservation‑led luxury safari operator in the Kruger National Park to recruit a skilled and driven Senior Sous Chef for one of their premier lodges.
The food philosophy celebrates the richness and diversity of the African continent, combining locally sourced ingredients with international culinary expertise to create menus that are both innovative and deeply considered.
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations in their absence, ensuring all culinary output consistently meets the lodge’s high standards. Key duties include supervising kitchen teams, assisting with menu planning and execution, maintaining quality control, managing stock and procurement, upholding strict health and safety practices, mentoring junior staff, and supporting environmentally responsible kitchen practices.
