SENIOR SPECIALIST NURSE, LABOUR AND DELIVERY

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to nursing care vision, mission, goals, and objectives aligned with the scope of nursing services, performing shift duties as assigned by the Unit Manager to ensure high-quality care.
• Notify the unit manager of any changes in the situation that could impact standards of care.
• Obtain and hand over a report of patient progress, ensuring all doctors' orders are followed before changing or taking over shifts, and notifying any incidents or problems encountered.
• Visit patients in the unit with team members to assess conditions, revisit nursing care, and determine nursing priorities based on patient needs and staff availability.
• Provide personalized, comprehensive care to patients, ensuring meticulous documentation and prompt communication of abnormal findings, and provide exceptional critical care for severe conditions using advanced life support technologies such as mechanical ventilation, IABP, CRRT, pacem...
