Leading Client in the Technology Industry requires a Senior Support Engineer to provide Virtualisation infrastructure support
Responsibilities
- Providing 3rd Line Support
- VMware support
- Analysis of system health with in-depth reporting
- Preventative maintenance
- Architect new solutions
- Assist with escalations from 2nd line Support Engineers
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Certification: VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA-DCV 2024)
- Min 10 years experience supporting data centre software
- Technologies : Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, Linux KVM
- o SRM with: Storage replication, vVols, vRep
- o vRealize Operations
- o Veeam backup and replication
- Must have a valid drivers and own reliable transport
