Senior Surveyor/Team Lead

The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our high-performing Auckland-based Survey team, taking a lead role in the delivery of complex and high-value survey projects.

In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership and take ownership of project delivery—overseeing quality, programme, and commercial outcomes. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively, guiding project teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

In addition to project delivery, this role includes a people leadership component, supporting a team of approximately 5–7 surveyors. This typically represents around 30% of your time and focuses on mentoring, coaching, and helping others grow their technical and professional capabilities. You’ll foster a collaborative team environment, contribute to planning and resourcing, and support day‑to‑day guidance—while remaining actively involved in hands‑on survey project management and delivery.
