Lead wildlife conservation initiatives at Jacobs as a Senior Wildlife Biologist in Western Canada. Shape environmental strategies and support a talented team while ensuring regulatory compliance.
In this full-time, office-based role, you will drive significant natural resource projects and provide technical leadership in wildlife biology. Your expertise will guide project teams in wildlife environmental planning and help mentor junior biologists to enhance their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and oversee wildlife biology components in projects
• Mentor and develop junior biologists’ skills
• Lead environmental planning and technical reporting
• Interface with clients and regulatory bodies
• Manage habitat modeling and assessment methods
Requirements:
• B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in biophysical sciences
• At least 15 years of experience in the sector
• Solid skills in technical writing and review
