Follow up on all Material Developments and approvals
Liaise with overseas material team for fabric approvals & also for discussing any technical issues. Review colors as per requirements & liaise with suppliers on approvals & technical discussions
Collect approved quality swatches & distribution according to the calendar. Follows through seasonal sampling requirements as per development calendar.
Recommend substitute/better fabrics, wherever possible in order to have better product at better prices
Research new trends & work with key suppliers to get seasonal collections. Maintain Library for new collections, seasonal hangers & for approved swatches
Proactive approach in foreseeing any technical issues related to material & suggesting technical solutions to overcome that
Follows through with suppliers/garment vendors ensuring bulk fabric deliveries. Initiate seasonal bookings & capacity planning...
