Service Leader

Position summary

To be responsible for the Early Years’ Service as the Nominate Supervisor. The role is responsible for the day-to-day operations at the service. This includes ensuring a safe, nurturing, inclusive and high-quality environment that supports children’s development, families’ needs, and staff wellbeing, while meeting all regulatory and policy requirements.

Selection criteria

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education preferred
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to navigate difficult conversations
• Knowledge of National Quality Standards and VEYLDF
• Current driver’s license
• Current WWCC and current Police check
