Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible to execute and support the inspections, servicing, repairs, modernisations and installation on cranes and related components and equipment for all crane brands. Also ensuring that related inspections, load testing, etc. comply with statutory and legal requirements.
Main Responsibilities Compile and maintain safety files as required per regulatory, compliance and customer requirements. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes. Conduct thorough inspections, breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with service contracts or other requirements. Carry out fault finding to ensure that cranes are thoroughly assessed in accordance with stipulated procedures, isolate the problem and take or recommend action to minimise downtime.
