Serviceman, Electrician (Nanaimo)

Position Summary

The Serviceman, Electrician will work within occupied buildings on behalf of our customers.

The technician will be responsible for various BAS preventative maintenance tasks, programming & graphic changes, possible HVAC equipment startups, and commissioning and troubleshooting of BAS systems with minimal supervision.

This position requires flexibility to work overtime as the business needs (on call).

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and have knowledge of building mechanical/electrical/control systems and equipment, typical BAS controls systems and devices.
• Effective and timely communication at the highest possible level.
• Total customer satisfaction, internal and external.
• Perform site‑specific training for owner/operator.
• Professional and expedient conflict resolution.
• Perform system startups, and network connections, create and modify graphics interfaces as required.
