EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of commercial cleaning is preferred.
SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs the general care, routine cleaning, and maintains the appearance of MARTA’s designated areas, as assigned. Periodically removes interior and exterior graffiti. Makes pick up of needed materials from the storerooms and delivers cleaning supplies to various locations. The Serviceperson I position consists of three specific functions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Provides light cleaning on a daily basis; performing such tasks as removal of debris and litter.
. Provides routine heavy cleaning.
. Completely restores areas damaged by vandalism and graffiti.
