Job Description

The Department of Physiology, University of Toronto (St. George campus) is recruiting a Sessional Lecturer to teach the renal section of PSL201Y (Basic Human Physiology) during Fall 2026. The course will run from Sept 2026-April 2027, inclusive of the term tests and examinations.


Course Code and Title: PSL201Y – Basic Human Physiology

Course Description: A survey course covering all organ systems intended for students who are not proceeding further in Physiology.

Estimated Course Enrolment: 120

Estimated TA Support: 1

Sessional Dates of Appointment: November 2026 to January 2027

Salary: In accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement, the rate of pay for teaching in this course will be $2,399.39, inclusive of vacation pay.
