Overview

The City of North Vancouver is the urban core of the beautiful North Shore and has a long‑term vision to be “The Healthiest Small City in the World.” The Infrastructure, Transportation & Parks Department is seeking a regular full‑time Supervisor1 – Sewer. The position reports to the Section Manager of Utilities and involves both field and office duties at the Operations Centre.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor2 in planning and assigning work for a small group of subordinates engaged in sewer construction and maintenance tasks such as maintenance and repair of wastewater/storm systems and facilities.
• Co‑coordinate and direct the work of truck drivers, equipment operators, and external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with performance standards, specifications, safety procedures, and municipal sewer‑storm utilities operations protocols.
