Sheet Metal machinery operators required by busy established aerospace parts manufacturing company. The roles involve the use of variety of Sheet metal machinery such as presses, guillotines and saws to assist in the manufacture of aircraft parts. This is a role where reliability, accuracy and attention to detail are essential, working to defined schedules and aerospace quality standards. Key responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, lofts, templates and specifications Lay out, measure and mark materials accurately using appropriate tools (squares, rules, dividers, scribes, calculators) Set up and operate fabrication machinery including press brakes, guillotines, folding machines, shears, turret punches, band-saws and presses Cut, bend, form and assemble sheet metal components from layout through to finishing Use hand and power tools for fitting, trimming and finishing work Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerances and drawing requireme...
