Job Description

Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator – Letchworth
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator in Letchworth to work with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel while producing high-quality fabricated components.

Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.50 – £20.50 per hour, depending on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week + overtime available
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately

Weld and fabricate stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel (1.0mm – 12mm)

Carry out TIG and MIG welding on sub-assemblies and main assemblies

Use fabrication jigs or complete freehand welding as required

Manufacture assembly weld fixtures when needed
