Shift Operator - Control Systems

Job Description
Our client is seeking an HVAC Control Systems Operator (Building Automation System Operator) to join their federal team supporting the National Defense University.

• Maintain and monitor the performance of the Facility Control Systems. This includes monitoring and managing equipment and system alarms utilizing graphical user interfaces and control system programs
• Validates equipment and system alarms, and creates work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for the Technicians to follow up with
• Continuously monitors the Facility Control Systems, primarily using Siemens BAS system to ensure proper operation of all systems and equipment
• Conducts shift turn over meetings when coming on shift and when finishing shifts
• Completes shift reports and logs primarily in Microsoft Word and Excel
