The Lab Operations Specialist provides on-site laboratory support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role oversees shipping and receiving, inventory management, consumables tracking, and basic equipment maintenance, while strictly following standard operating procedures and safety protocols. The specialist supports scientists and program staff by keeping materials organized, equipment functioning, and the laboratory environment safe and well supplied.
Responsibilities

+ Manage the intake process for all laboratory materials by accurately receiving incoming shipments, inspecting them for quality and completeness, and documenting all deliveries in accordance with standard operating procedures.
