LGC PT provides support services to API. These services include packaging and shipping, customer service, sales and marketing, finance, and IT. LGC PT also offers an ISO / IEC 17043 accredited proficiency testing program for clinical laboratories outside of the United States who prefer a different schedule and sample format than laboratories.
Together, API and LGC PT support the American Proficiency Institute proficiency testing program, which is known for its innovation and exceptional service.
API administers all technical and regulatory aspects of the PT program; its team of Medical Laboratory Scientists are experts in proficiency testing with 174 years of combined experience in PT. The team is responsible for program planning, sample procurement, statistical review of participant data, performance evaluation, and technical support.
