 /Responsibilities The Shipping Supervisor counts inventory coming into the warehouse and updates the ERP system; manages Customs Bonded receiving and withdrawal of imported cases; supervises shipping employees to ensure daily work schedule is met; manages export, military, and refund stock orders; works closely with the Louisville Export Order Manager and freight forwarders to schedule shipments; analyzes inventory for refund needs and ensures refund statements are applied; and checks and processes breakage.
Ensure that transportation related activities are completed to ensure that customer orders ship out accurately and completely and that exceptions are either resolved in advance or properly communicated to the affected parties. Use the shipping schedule and sales forecasts to plan weekly and daily labor requirements and make sure everyone is properly trained.
