SHIPWRIGHT LEADER

Summary You will serve as a SHIPWRIGHT LEADER in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT (Code 900) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will plan and layout work using blueprints, sketches, work orders and other specifications. You will work safely in all areas and understand and adhere to safety procedures and requirements. You will ensure that tools used are in good, safe operating condition to accomplish work. You will ensure that tools, materials, and equipment are properly used, stored and maintained. You will lay out work for the group, taking the lead in setting the pace performing non-supervisory work of the same kind as done by the group led. You will estimate materials, plan work and assume lead in erecting various types of staging (mast, hanging, etc.) in a safe and economical manner.
