Job Description
Our client, a respected NGO based in Westville, is seeking a hands-on and highly organised Shop Assistant to support their daily operations and coordinate volunteers.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only operationally strong but also empathetic, people-focused, and passionate about making a difference.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Previous retail experience
✔ Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
✔ Ability to coordinate and manage volunteers effectively
✔ Hands-on approach (packing, unpacking, and shop floor involvement)
✔ Good eye for pricing and merchandising
✔ Naturally empathetic with a strong sense of compassion
✔ A confident, people-oriented leader
Salary: R8 000 – R12 000 per month
