Job Description
Responsibilities:
Take readings of coolant in all machines on a daily basis using refractometer and PH meter.
Record these readings. Asses condition of the coolant based on these checks and take appropriate action to remedy problems.
Maintain coolant coalescer, taking reading and monitoring concentration and condition.
Discuss problems with manufacturers’ representatives regarding coolant.
Keep inventory of coolant concentrate and cleaning concentrate.
Check fire extinguishers on a monthly basis and record findings.
Check fire sprinkler test valves on a monthly basis and record findings.
Recommend improvements to the job where necessary.
Change coolant in approximately four machines per week, clean out coolant tanks and replace with new and recycled coolant.
Maintain the coolant mixing machine.
Change various filters on all machines as required.
