Short Term Contract - Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (3 months)

The Short Term Contract Chief Risk and Compliance Officer is responsible to assume overall operational responsibility for the integrated Risk Management Strategy for the SAA Group (Airline and Subsidiaries).   This role acts as the Chief Risk Officer for the SAA Group.  

The role is to ensure that the necessary governance, tools and processes are in place to achieve the Group Risk Management function’s objectives. The incumbent is expected to engage in effective management of stakeholder relations through measurable and value-added service delivery, and integrated reporting. This will require strong insight into the Group Risk and Compliance framework that is supported by various regulations, policies and procedures.  

The role is also responsible for ensuring that the SAA Group complies and operates in conformity with its outside regulatory and legal requirements, as well as internal policies and bylaws.
