Job Description
The Shovel Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment (shovel) efficiently and safely at various project sites including marine and beach operations. The ideal candidate must ensure smooth equipment operation while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the shovel for loading excavation and material handling activities as instructed.
Ensure proper functioning of the machine through daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies during operation.
Report any mechanical issues damages or incidents immediately to the Plant Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the equipment at all times.
