Job Description

Fero Waste and Recycling Inc, a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is a solid waste company that services New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Job Summary:
The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the of a Class 3 Side load vehicle. The operator is also responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive Side Load tandem truck in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes to fill contractual requirements
Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
Responsible for daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks assigned
Check in with Dispatcher to determine what time to leave and return
Load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions
Maintain telephone or radio contact with appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions
