Job Description
A leading renewable energy developer, owner, and operator is recruiting for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a utility-scale Solar PV and BESS project in South Africa. This is an owner’s team role focused on site execution, contractor management, QA/QC oversight, progress tracking, reporting, and technical coordination during construction and commissioning.
Responsibilities:
Oversee site engineering and construction activities
Monitor EPC contractor performance against project requirements and schedule
Coordinate inspections, testing, QA/QC processes, and site documentation
Track project progress, risks, delays, and corrective actions
Support design implementation and variation management
Prepare site reports and progress updates
