Job Description
We are looking to strengthen our Operations team with a site-based Mechanical Fitter in the United Utilities region.
You will report directly to the Mechanical Site Manager. Your role will be to undertake the inspection and routine maintenance of installed assets inline with UU and manufacturer requirements, pipe fitting, and to assist with site integration. You will be joining an existing Mechanical team based at Oswestry WTW in the UU region; some short distance travelling may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Tagging and logging of assets installed using digital applications on phone/tablet for monitoring of assets.
- Working on various assets including and not exclusively valves, pumps, sludge presses, picket thickeners and UV systems.
- Working with a variety of materials (ductile, plastics, carbon steel).
- Working to company SHEQ standards at all times.
