Job Description
Responsibilities
- Schedule and monitor real-time trading systems
- Monitor open and close of markets as it relates to the system
- Reduce the number of trading hiccups
- Monitor and escalates real-time system alerts
- Handle any triage for the trade system
- Diagnose and resolve system issues
- Provide updates to the options desk team
- Coordinate resolution calls with vendors and traders
- Escalate production issues
- Follow and solve for regulatory testing for trading environment
- Deliver and maintain high quality information
- Python scripting automation
Requirements
- 2+ years of IT experience needed
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Good knowledge of Unix
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking applications
- Basic understanding of network routing and troubleshooting
