Slitter Machine Operator

About the Role

They are looking for a Slitter Operator to work with our slitter and log saw machine on the afternoon shift at our plant based in Christchurch. You will be part of a high performing team and will assist with the continuous improvement of our operations. If you do not have experience in machine operating in a manufacturing environment, full training will be provided. It is essential that for this role you have excellent attention to detail.

Hours and Shifts

• Shift 1: 05:50 AM – 02:00 PM Monday – Friday (8 hours)
• Shift 2: 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM Monday – Friday (8 hours)
• Shift 3: 09:50 PM – 06:00 AM Sunday – Friday – 41 hours per week, rotating shifts

Duties

• Setup, monitor and control of own workstation and production equipment.
• Run the jobs to the specified output and ensure job changes are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Wrap and stack all product correctly.
