Small Business Underwriting Assistant

About the Role

Donegal Insurance Group has an opening for a Small Business Underwriting Assistant supporting Commercial Lines Small Business Underwriters, to ensure that profitability and growth objectives for the company are being met. This position will provide new and renewal quoting support, processing endorsements and reviewing and approving loss control inspections; it is anticipated that there will be a high volume of time sensitive documents that must be completed accurately and on time to support the customer service goals and objectives established for the department  

Responsibilities and Duties

+ Select, price and develop coverage terms for small commercial lines accounts to achieve profitable underwriting results and assist with providing leadership, support and coaching for the underwriting function
