Commercial Litigation Lawyer for full service law firm client, North York. Working Conditions & Employment
Full Time Permanent. Hybrid work location: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite at the client’s North York office with free parking. Responsibilities
Handle commercial litigation files from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, factums, and other legal documents. Conduct examinations, argue motions, and participate in dispute resolution, mediations, arbitrations, and appearing at trial. Represent clients in commercial disputes such as contractual disagreements, shareholder disputes, construction claims, professional liability, debt recovery, and real property litigation. Represent clients in secured and unsecured debt collection matters. Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda and case analyses, and provide strategic legal advice and risk assessments.
