**Job Description:**

**The State Based Systems (SBS) division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect. This position** **is responsible for designing and implementing short and long-term strategic goals for managing and maintaining systems and software. This involves gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and defining appropriate technical architecture for new development. They provide their expertise and architectural assistance to other technical staff including software development teams.** **This is a full-time remote position, in a positive and flexible environment. Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office is required.**
